Gordon Walker

There is probably too many good things to write about his guy, but I will start with how much he is dedicated to my journey as an athlete. He does enjoy long runs in the wilderness but that’s probably not important. Gordy’s strengths lie in his ability to cater to an athlete’s holistic needs and provide an individualised programme that extracts the best out of the athlete. His skills are not only in physiology, but in sport specific technique and team management. Although I am not able to articulate how great a coach Gordy is I can simply tell you he has guided me to win 5 x World Championships, 2 x Olympic Gold medals and 1 x Olympic Bronze medal. Enough said.

Albert Chang

Albert is an integral part of my strengthening programme, he understands me as a person and works extremely hard to ensure I am able to reach my strength and power potential. Alberts strengths don’t just lie in his squat but his ability to create gym strength that can be applied to a specific sport. Just be careful not to leave your lunch lying around or he will find it.

David Galbraith
Psychologist
DG has been working with me since 2011 and is an important part of my team. We don’t spend a lot of our time talking about kayaking, but most of our time discussing ways to embrace life and live with the purest intentions. Although I have known him for a while now I am constantly blown away by his skills and also amazed how he can grow an eyebrow strand so long.

Don’t let his smile fool you, this guys means business. I do give Murray a lot of stick but that’s because if I told him how good he was he would never let it go. Murray has an incredible set of skills which allows me to run my body in the best possible condition.
